      Does gitview (gitui) recongnize the .gitignore file if present?

        It uses the same libraries as shellista does. The main one is gittle and this library definitely has code in it that supports the .gitignore file.

          I'll have to double check. Since gitview requires you to add individual files, rather than by wild cards or entire directories, it sort of doesn't matter... However, I should probably be only displaying untracked files which are not .gitignored, and I suspect right now I'm not (untracked file display was custom to gitview, neither gittle nor porcelain displayed untracked in their git status)

            It works, wildcards work. You do, however, try to track .gitignore which is is at least humorous. Actually on second thought, its good you do.

              Got the new old master. You need to patch the log view window size due to the new behavior of 1.6 regarding default view sizes. Seems I can't find where that fix was posted. Starting to need an index of some sort on this thing.
