Script in background, form UI

Congrats on this very cool app guys! Pythonista is really nice to work with, though Ive not done much yet. I had a couple questions.
I read that scripts in background run for 10 minutes now, correct? So if you had program running, it would have to restart when you open Pythonista again after 10 minutes. Does this apply to programs exported to XCode to run as standalone apps?
I am very insterested in UI forms (button, text fields/views, text output and maybe tables). I am guessing one could build a minimal UI library in python that works with scene and layers and Rect, in Pythonista, I may even try some of that myself. But what about keyboard input? I didn't see a way to accept user keyboard input except through console, which would make it hard if not impossible to create text input forms. Correct? ( I am not interested in building web forms in Pythonista, if I had to do that, I'd just stick to a normal web app)
Thanks for your help! And thanks for the way cool app OMZ!
