Any plans to include a Document Picker in Editorial? I realize that AppStore restrictions, combined with the "audacious" Python interpreter that is built into the app, make this a thorny feature request. But it is my sole reason for using ByWord instead of Editorial right now. I just started testing Working Copy, the first genuine git client for iOS, and I use the ByWord document picker to open and edit local git repos cloned from Github by Working Copy. It adds up to a seamless, wonderful workflow.

Gently bumping this thread… Any intentions to add a Document Picker in Editorial.app? Any thoughts from fellow users? Imagine the possibilities! For example, this would enable Editorial.app to directly access GitHub repos cloned within WorkingCopy.app, a recently released git client for iOS. Desktop-level coding and prose-writing workflow on iOS!

Have you looked at http://omz-forums.appspot.com/pythonista/post/6438714356006912 and https://github.com/pysmath/wc_sync ?

Thank you, @ccc, this does help, and I will take a close look. It looks like good work, though inevitably a bit of a kludge. A document picker would make a much more elegant solution, though I understand Ole must have his reasons for not replying to this feature suggestion, here or on Twitter.
