Beta - itunes backup doesn't back it up?

I wiped my IPad today (trying to get a new SIM card working). I of course backed up in ITunes first.
However, when I restored, Pythonista 1.5 was restored (and TestFlight was not installed). None of the data was restored when I later reinstalled the beta.
I haven't tried any tools to explore the backup .. but just a heads up, don't rely on itunes backup to restore the beta versions!

Scratch that... my old documents folder ended up in .Extension! better than lost!
