      @omz, if you create a file using your file browser and select create a file with a text extention, you end up with a .py file with code copied into the file already. I won't say more because I think it's easily reproducible. It's not problem for me to fix the file to want I want, just let you know.

        I saw that when I wanted to create an HTML file.

          There are separate templates for Text/HTML files at the bottom of the template picker (beta only). When you pick one of the Python templates, the .py extension is appended automatically.

            Sorry, was stupid mistake not reading correctly. Is the section to create extensions :( was thinking about file extensions. Opps
