Just wondering if there if there is anyway to embed google maps into a ui. I would prefer not to have the website open in a Webview or webbrowser, but have it embedded in a ui. I don't want the search or the pop ups on Google maps website. I'm trying to create an app that will save a list of locations and give them back to you as you drive along. I would also like Google Maps Api in Pythonista, because that would help greatly in determining which saved location is closest.

@Webmaster4o , I didn't see this post. But it's nice. It's Still working. Pinpointed me exactly. Any year now when I am competent programming Python, I would love to make some games. Not computer games, interactive treasure hunt like games. Using qr codes, maps etc... Could be a lot of fun. Also incorporating beacons and other iot devices. I am bad at traditional computer games, therefore not interested in them. Possibly the other way around. But love the idea of real world games with interaction with your friends.
So many possibilities if you have the skills. But still even fun to think about -
You should check out letterboxing. You solve clues (from a very straightforward to insanely difficult) which lead you to a hand carved stamp, (leave the stamp, take an imprint in your logbook). Folks can get pretty creative with the stamps, clues, locations...

Similar, in that both often lead you out into the woods to find a hidden box. In Geocaching the box is filled with some worthless trinket hich is constantly changing In letterboxing the box contains a mini work of art, which stays put. Geocaching tends to give you GPS coords that you then turn over every rock until you find something. Letterboxing clues are sometimes straightforward directions, other times more cryptic puzzles

Thanks guys. I will look at these for inspiration. @JonB , but you are correct in your thinking. Here, it's going to be about drinking and bar hopping. And of course we are not mental giants after the first few hours of drinking 😱 But will be nice to see how others do it . What I have is just a night of fun, not mentally taxing. There are many built in road blocks '/challenges in thailand already. I did some simple but fun things many years ago with SMS in Phuket.
