I have searched the forums but I can't find an answer to something basic like how to set up Dropbox. The manual makes it sound like all I need to do is link Dropbox and I'm good to go, however....

I've linked Dropbox, but when I go to my desktop I see nothing, not even a "Editorial" folder within "Apps". I reset sync within iPad app, still nothing. I create the Editorial folder within Apps on the desktop for the hell of it, reset sync again, still nothing?

What am I missing? I assumed that once I link Dropbox the .md files I created within Editorial would show up on Dropbox for me to then play with on the desktop? Is the sync only one way (i.e. it only syncs files created on my desktop over), rather than the other way around, which is what I need?

      Kurt

Okay, I'll answer my own question ;)

I didn't see the two different tabs at top of the file browser side menu, and I realized I could create a new file in either "Local" or "Dropbox". But even with that there is no way to move a file that was started in Local to Dropbox, or vice-versa. But some searching led me to a couple of workflows (but of course) that will do that for you. I ended up with Smart Move - Updated but there are others.

Still not as seamless as iCloud sync is say with iAWriter, but it does have the benefit of forcing me to write on my iPad more and of course all the workflows (and workflow possibilities) can't be topped.
