Was able to get into UI Designer and design a screen.

Not sure what exactly I did, but I went from the design mode of the .pyui file I was designing into the JSON version of the file before I was done designing.

Is is possible to move back into UI Designer mode on that file within Pythonista?

Also, is it possible to design those files outside of Pythonista and then import them in?

Thanks in Advance for any advice.

@rickapel, is the file extension still ”.pyui”?

          @mikael
          yes it is
I noticed while looking in the other example directories that the pyui files maintained their
          ui developer interface.

I somehow managed to get this file turned into a JSON format
When I bring it up in file manager it goes into the editor rather that put me into the
UI Developer like the files in the example directories.

This is the first time I have used the UI Developer and I am totally perplexed as to what
          has happened.

The JSON file does reflect all the info pertaining to the UI original development file.
However, I did do a rename at one point. The file still has the .pyui suffix

I just fixed it back with a rename. I gave it a long name with underscores (i.e. xxxx_xxxx_xxxx_xxx.pyui). I renamed it to test.pyui and it went back to ui developer format.

There is something in the naming convention that I used that it didn't like.
I used a python allowable long name but for some reason it didn't like the long name with underscores. Must be a bug.

          Thanks for responding.
