iCloud Sync

Are there any configuration settings or strategies to have Pythonista update files in its iCloud directory?
When copying data or script files into the iCloud directory they never seem to be updated in Pythonista but I can see that they are updated if I access them with other IOS applications.
I've searched but not seen any posts related to this.
Specifically, what I've done is update a JSON file and several .py scripts on via another device or program and want to have Pythonista grab the latest versions.
