Just downloaded the app. Looking through the forums. Is the Codea forum a bigger user base and any tips for a new guy

I'd say the Codea forum is more active, but that does not mean more users. The benefit of python is that there is tons of info on the net :) For a new user follow the link @ccc provided. Great info there.
